My RC yachting career began in 1989, I spent a few years sailing at my local club in NZ gaining experience etc with RM's & 1M's.
1997 saw me gain 3rd place in the 1M world champs held in Wellington NZ, I was sailing a TS2.
In early 2000 I designed the STEALTH which went on to win the NZ nationals in it's first year, it was my first design so I was very happy with the results to say the least!!
Later in 2000 I went to San Jose for the USA nationals which I also won in very light airs.
On to Europe 2002 saw my STEALTH gain 3rd place in the European champs & also 3rd place in the UK nationals. 2003 STEALTH takes 2nd place in the UK nationals.
Since then STEALTH SAILS has continued to provide top quality 1M sails to many skippers around the globe. I have recently reintroduced the 3 panel mainsails that have been popular in the past, also I am again making lightweight jibs from polyester ripstop. These sails will be available along side the normal 4 panel mainsails & 3 panel jibs from 50 micron film that I have been producing for 20 years.
